Most people’s lives are busy. Trying to make big changes all at once can be difficult and increases the chance of failing. The more complicated it is, the less you want to do it.

New habits and behaviors take time and practice to develop. The key to an effective weight loss program is to keep it simple, so try not to change too many things at once.

For example: Eating a healthy breakfast can lead to making better choices throughout the day. If you don’t typically have breakfast and it is one of your goals to start, make that your only focus initially. Practice eating a good breakfast every morning for a minimum of a week. After successfully doing that, add on another week of practice. Once you feel confident about your new habit, try to add on something new.
